cars in skopje

I am thinking to buy a car. Even everything is in walking distance, it would be still nice to have a car so that I can stay more active in the area.
There are cute cars in Skopje. It is like Paris. Many cars are "petite" like Peugeot 206, Citroen C2, Fiat Punto, Alfa 147, Renault etc.... All new and cute. I was told that air in Skopje is not so clean because there are many old cars. It is true in a way that air is no so clean, but there is less old cars than I imagined. There are paths that Macedonia has to take to join the EU. The effort of reducing exhaust gas is one of them. I guess that stricter rules might encourage Macedonian to buy a new car. The photo is not showing those new, cute cars, though. I just thought that it is kind of funny to see old cars lined up like this (from left; Yugo, Yugo, Russian). I guess that this Yugo is from old Yugoslavian days.

スコピエを走る車ったら意外にもかわいいのが多いんです。
古くて汚い車ばっかだから空気が汚いよ、って言われてきたけど、(空気は汚いけど)車はそんなに古いものばっかでもないことを発見しました。プジョーの106, 206、シトロエンのC2, C3、アルファの147など、パリの街を走るようなちっちゃいかわいい車がたくさん走ってます。つい、自分も一台欲しくなっちゃったりして。やっぱ食料買い出しとか行くときにあると便利だなあ、なんて。
すっごいぼろいチンクエチェントとかがぐわーって走っているのを見かけるのも実は楽しい。マケドニア、やっぱヨーロッパの一部ですよ。車が楽しいですよ。
写真の車は古い車なんだけど、ついなんか面白いなと思って撮ってみました。左から、「ユーゴ、ユーゴ、名前は知らないロシアの車」。 このユーゴって崩壊したユーゴスラビア時代の車じゃないかなあ。スコピエではまだまだいっぱい走ってます。でもじつは、昔のゴルフみたいな形でけっこうイケてるな、とか思ってるんですよね。
