...and food, of course. Pita (like a pie without fillings) and Kisela Mleko(yogurt) are the specialty of the region (Miac region, a part of the Western Macedonia). Also, lamb, of which photo is taken after we ate almost up already ;-P , which means foods are that good. And I heard that white cheese from the region is very tasty. Although, I could not find the store that sells the famous cheese. It seems that women who are from the region make good cheese and usually the cheese is consumed at own home, not for sale. Hmm, sounds very rare. Now I want to try that cheese more. Maybe I should make a friend who is from Galichnik to get the famous cheese.

そしてもちろん食は大事でしょ。その地方では(ガリチニック村がある地方はMiac地域といわれる西マケドニア地方の一部にあたります)、ピタというパイの中身なし的な食べ物とヨーグルトが有名だそうです。ラム肉もおいしいらしい。写真を撮ったのはすでにある程度食べちゃってからなんですけど、まあそれはそれだけおいしかったってことで (^ ^; 。そしてまたそこの地域の白チーズ「シレニエ」がすごーいおいしいと評判なのですが、そのウワサのチーズを売っているお店をぜんぜん見かけなかったのは、その伝説のシレニエはその地域の奥さんが作って、家庭で消費されるものだから売りに出ないらしいです。幻のチーズか。そう聞くとますますトライしてみたくなる。そのチーズをゲットするために、その地域出身の友達を作るべきか。
