Sweden is famous for its design work. There are many design goods shops and well-designed buildings, complex and interiors. Stockholm city itself is also well-designed. It is very comfortable to be surrounded by well-designed items. There are even well-designed chic McDonald's (photo right), which is said targeting for adults.スウェーデンはデザインものが有名ですが、確かにその通りいいデザインのものがあちこちにありました。デザイングッズのショップもそうですけど、よくデザインされたビルとかコンプレックスとかショップインテリアとか。ストックホルムの街自体もよくデザインされているし。非常に居心地がいいんですよね、いいデザインのものに囲まれているのって。大人用の「シックなデザイン」マクドナルドを発見したときはオドロキでした(写真右)。。。

いいデザインものを安く提供できるところに、「最も競争的な国」と言われるゆえんがあるのかしら、IKEAのように。
