Macedonian style burger is not like the one that comes first to people's mind as a burger. What is most funny is it contains fried potatoes between buns in addition to a meat patty, of course, and ketchup, and sometimes vegetables. Since it is with full of fries, people can not bite into it, so instead, eat first fries one piece by one piece by using this plastic toothpick-like stick. It is funny to see a big guy eating smallish fries with a toothpick bit by bit. Very girlish. Once you eat most of fries, you can start to bite. Mixed taste with meat and potatoes is actually interesting. A craving kind of food. Macedonian calls this a "sandwich." That is another funny part.

マケドニア式バーガーは普通「バーガー」と聞いて想像するハンバーガーとはけっこう違います(ま、そもそもここでは｢サンドイッチ」と呼ばれていますが(笑)。なんといってもバンの間にフライドポテトが入ってるところがだいぶ違います。もちろんお肉やケチャップや野菜も入ってたりしますが、インパクトがあるのはこのフライドポテト。これがあるために、バーガーにがぶっとかぶりつくこととか出来ません。なのでまずは、ついている爪楊枝みたいな小さいスティックでポテトを一本一本食べて、かぶりつけるくらいになるまで減らします。ガタイの大きい男の人が、ちびちびとポテトを爪楊枝みたいなもので一本一本食べているのを見るのはけっこう笑えるんですよ。ある程度かぶりつけるくらいになったら、がぶっといくのですが、これがまたハンバーグとポテトが混ざったハンバーガーの味ってけっこういけるのですよ。急に無性に食べたくなるタイプの食べ物です。これはマケドニアに来たらマストイートアイテムですな。
