Speaking of jaffles, there is a toaster that can make jaffles at my home. It comes with the apartment that I rent. This toaster is very convenient to make the "toast" with ham and cheese with ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard. By pressing a bread with the heavy top, the toast is flattened and becomes crispy. It is different from the toaster that I have known in Japan or NY, but this toaster does its job in its way. See this stripe, isn't it cute?ジャッフルの話が出ましたが、今借りている家についているトースターが、けっこうかわいくて気に入ってるんです。ハムとチーズとケチャップ、マヨネーズ、マスタードを食パンではさんで焼くとおいしいホットサンドが出来ます。お餅とかサツマイモは焼けませんが、重い上蓋でパンを押さえつけて焼くこのトースターは、食パンがすっかりペッタンコになってカリカリと別の食べ物になるカンジが面白いんです。このストライプの焼け模様もなんかかわいくない?
