stip

Stip is the largest town in eastern Macedonia, 1.5 hour drive away from Skopje. It used to be the center of the country’s textile and fashion industry when Macedonia was still competitive in the textile industry of the world. The picture of these numerous small shops and houses among hills with white walls and orange roofs looks like very European, I thought.
